Focusbgc has identified that one of the primary worries a business owner has concerns about is how to get out of his/her business at a time which suits their particular needs. In other words, if they wish to retire, or change direction, what do they do?
Generally a company will not have been started and operated with the express view of selling it or for allowing the owner/operator to retire to possibly do other things. Selling a company is normally difficult; selling a company which has not been “readied” for sale is disastrous!
